Why The EdTour?
Welcome to EdTour MENA Fall 2026,
Embark on an enriching educational expedition through the vibrant and diverse Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Discover the fascinating blend of ancient history, modern ambition, and rich cultural heritage across three remarkable countries: Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and Morocco.
This tour is your gateway to connecting with ambitious students, engaged parents, and dedicated high school counselors across the MENA region. Our itinerary features a mix of high school visits, interactive networking sessions, and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with the local educational community.
In selected cities, we will also host Mini College Fairs in collaboration with EducationUSA and local U.S. Embassy initiatives, providing a platform for you to showcase your institution and engage with high-achieving students exploring international education opportunities.
But it’s not all work—prepare for an exciting blend of cultural experiences and discovery. From experiencing the rich traditions and rapid transformation of Saudi Arabia to exploring the Mediterranean charm of Tunisia and wandering through Morocco’s historic medinas and vibrant markets, this journey offers unforgettable moments across the region.
And of course, the EdTour team—self-proclaimed food lovers—will guide you through a culinary journey featuring some of the most memorable flavors of the Middle East and North Africa.

Why EdTour - MENA?
- According to the Institute of International Education Open Doors 2023/24 report, the total number of students studying in the U.S. from: Saudi Arabia: 14,828, Morocco: 1,157, Tunisia: 1,004
- The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is home to over 400 million people, representing approximately 5% of the world’s population.
- More than 50% of the population in the MENA region is under the age of 25, making it one of the youngest regions globally.
- Saudi Arabia has the largest economy in the Middle East, with a GDP exceeding $1 trillion.
- Increasing investment in education and international partnerships across the region is driving growing interest in overseas higher education opportunities.

Who is this program for?
Undergraduate Admissions Representatives
- Visit 4-8 high schools in each city in Saudi Arabia, Tunis, Morocco
- Network with high school counselors through our Counselor Socials
- Meet students/parents during events hosted at various schools
- Mini College Fairs, in collaboration with EducationUSA (tentative).
Sightseeing/Other Activities
- Saudi Arabia – Explore historic districts, local markets, and enjoy views of the Red Sea coastline.
- Tunisia – Discover traditional medinas, historic architecture, and the Mediterranean coast.
- Morocco – Visit vibrant souks, historic city centers, and experience the region’s rich cultural heritage.

**Although Hotel and Visa fees are not included in the tour cost; we will facilitate our tour participants negotiated corporate rates for the hotels. Any documentation needed for the visa shall be provided by EdPrograms.
Eligibility Requirements
- This tour is open to accredited higher education institutions only
- Institutions must be two-year, four-year, and graduate degree-granting institutions
- Tour participants need to be full-time admissions employees of the participating institution
- Alumni and recruitment agents can not represent the registered institution on our tours
- Universities will be reviewed by the advisory board in case of exceeding tour capacity
- Participating Institutions must adhere to the NAFSA’s Statement of Ethical Principles
