We believe in experiential learning rather than collecting certificates. However, we will still certainly provide certificates to all our participants. Students who have fulfilled the required criteria and have participated will receive a certificate of completion for the program.

EdPrograms is a unique summer immersion program where students from high schools mostly travel with their high school counselor. If for any reason a high school counselor is not travelling with the student, EdPrograms staff and a tour director will travel with the students throughout the program.

Student safety and security are top priorities of EdPrograms. Host institutions are serious about the responsibility of keeping students safe and healthy. • Communicate to students about campus/program policies, including basic safety information, curfews, codes of conduct, and emergency contact information

Yes. Curfew timings for all participants during the program is 10 pm. All students must return to their dorms/hotel rooms by 10 pm. Only exception is if an EdPrograms staff is accompanying the participants.

EdPrograms follows a strict code of conduct during all our programs. All participating students, parents of the students, school counselors and the student’s high school are required to sign a code of conduct agreement for the program. Any participants found violating the rules & regulations set by the EdPrograms staff will be immediately removed from the program and sent back to their country of residence. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances

Participants travel during the program in private chartered tour buses. These buses are well equipped with comfortable seats, air conditioning, TVs and most have bathrooms. During the visits to major cities such as New York and Chicago, participants may travel through public transportation (trains and buses) to experience what it’s like to live and travel in a metropolitan city.

EdPrograms participants stay in campus residences or at 3-4 star hotels. Students usually are divided in a group of four students (same sex) per room when staying in a hotel. When staying in campus residences, room orientation will depend on the layout of the residence. However, each student will have a single bed for them at each of the visiting campus.

EdPrograms is run by a group of foodies. We make sure our participants are well fed throughout the program. Participants will dine at dining centers when staying on campus and at major restaurants/cafes when staying at hotels.

At Edprograms we try to make sure the food that is served fulfills every individual’s dietary restrictions. This includes but is not limited to vegetarian, vegan and halal food. Participants need to inform the EdPrograms staff about any dietary restrictions prior to the start of the program.

EdPrograms was founded because of counselor’s feedback. We believe school counselors play a vital role in the success of their students. The program is designed to give counselors the professional development they require to better advise and facilitate their students about educational options in the program country. Counselor specific workshops are designed during the program at multiple institutions. The most valuable output of this program is the networking opportunity for counselors with an institutions admissions team.

We want school counselors to participate in our programs. Therefore, cost for a counselor to attend the program is heavily subsidized. Counselors are only required to pay for the round-trip airfare and applicable visa fee for the program country.

Counselors must submit a thorough and quality application, along with a letter of nomination from their school.

Preference will be given to counselors from high schools that nominate five or more students from their schools for the program.

Counselors are encouraged to apply irrespective of student nominations. Selection will be based on an interview and the number of students that apply to the program country from their institution.

All counselors will be sharing the rooms/dorms with another counselor/EdPrograms staff (same sex).

Educational Programs (EdPrograms) is an organization established to promote international education through short-term immersion programs. We aim to familiarize participants with a multitude of disciplinary fields and career options through experiential learning, alongside a focus on building soft skills and promoting global consciousness.
