Why The EdTour?
We are excited to welcome you to our home! EdPrograms has experience in managing over 30+ U.S. university recruitment tours since 2012. Join us this Spring for the EdTour – South Asia & Middle East as we take you on a multi-city journey across the Bangladesh, UAE, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, (Turkey- Optional)
Be ready to explore the educational landscapes of these countries by meeting students, parents, and high school counselors.
Our tours offer a mix of school visits and Counselor Socials – our exclusive counselor-only networking events. Our YieldEd events give you an opportunity to meet with accepted students and their parents in all cities. Mini College Fairs in some countries will be organized in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy and EducationUSA.
EdTour is run by a group of foodies, so come prepared for a culinary journey across the region!
Why EdTour – South Asia & Middle East?
- According to Open Doors 2022/2023, the number of students studying in the U.S. from Pakistan: 10,164, Saudi Arabia: 15,989, UAE: 1,502, and Bangladesh: 13,563.
- Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bangladesh have a combined population of over 480 million!
- Pakistan is the sixth-most populous country with 220 million people (and counting), and 55% of its population under the age of 25.
- The literacy rate among the population aged 15 and above is 98% as of 2023.
- Bangladesh is the world’s seventh fastest-growing economy, with an annual growth rate of 8.3%
- According to UNESCO statistics, Saudi Arabia is among the 10 biggest sending countries of international degree-seeking students worldwide.
- According to Open Doors data, 51% of Saudi students in the U.S. are enrolled in undergraduate programs, 15% in master’s programs, and 12% in PhD programs.

Undergraduate Admissions Representatives

- Visit 4–6 high schools in each city across UAE, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Saudi Arabia
- Network with high school counselors through our Counselor Socials
- Meet students and parents during events hosted at schools
- Mini College Fairs in collaboration with EducationUSA (tentative)
Graduate Admissions Representatives

- Visit multiple universities across Pakistan and Bangladesh
- Engage in conversations with undergraduate students in STEM, Business, and Social Sciences through panels and presentations
- Attend customized graduate workshops at U.S. Embassies in collaboration with EducationUSA
- Network with U.S. Embassies, Fulbright Commissions, and Consular (visa) officers
- Meet graduate degree-seeking students during the Mini College Fairs

Note: Hotel and Visa fees are not included in the tour cost. EdPrograms will facilitate participants with negotiated corporate rates for hotels. Any documentation needed for visas will be provided. We prefer to stay in Marriott properties (where available).
Eligibility Requirements
- Open to accredited higher education institutions only
- Institutions must be two-year, four-year, or graduate degree-granting institutions
- Participants must be full-time admissions employees of the institution
- Alumni and recruitment agents cannot represent the institution on our tours
- Universities will be reviewed by the advisory board if tour capacity is exceeded
- Participating institutions must adhere to NAFSA’s Statement of Ethical Principles
