If you want a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, travel with us this summer to the iconic state of New York (as well as NJ, CT, NH and MA), home to some of the world’s most prestigious universities. Not only will you have the chance to explore tourist destinations such as Central Park, the Empire State building and the Statue of Liberty, but you’ll also get an inside look at institutions that have shaped many notable leaders around the world
This program will enable you to take a deep dive into varied disciplines, including information technology, business, law, aeronautical engineering, communications, law, and STEM to get a glimpse into your future career path. With the perfect blend of knowledge and experience, this program offers you everything from career exploration and campus visits to witnessing world-famous destinations in the U.S.
Who is this Program for?
Students:
This program is only open to current high school students (grade 10, 11, 12, O2, O3, A/S and A levels) interested in learning more about higher education abroad. The program is an exploration of various career options while visiting a diverse range of universities, to give students a better understanding of their future as well as their right-fit college.
Counselors:
EdPrograms offers high school counselors an opportunity to further develop their skills and expand their network through workshops and informative sessions at multiple institutions. Every program that we offer has counselors accompanying the students as chaperones.

Tentative Schedule for the Day
8:30 am
Check-in to a hotel/dorm and discuss the agenda with the program director
9:30am
Participate in an ice-breaking activity and other group activities to start your day on a high energy note
11:00am
Explore a career track at one of the universities and learn all about future career opportunities in that particular field
1:00 pm
Enjoy a delicious lunch with your fellow students and share your highlights of the day
2:30pm
Take an interactive tour of the university and ask questions about campus life, student activities and university culture from the current university students
3:30pm
Learn all about the admission requirements and financial aid opportunities
4:30pm
Attend a session on public speaking and practice delivering your own pitch in front of an audience
5:30pm
Explore the beautiful city of New York and stroll through Central Park for the perfect opportunity to take lots of pictures!
8:00pm
Play board games and enjoy other social activities to relax and unwind for the day

Eligibility Requirements
- Students with a dual nationality/valid U.S. visa will be given preference for this program
- This program is only open to current high school students (grade 10, 11, 12, O2, O3, A/S and A levels)
- This is a self/parent-funded program. No scholarships are offered for our 2022 cohort
- Students must submit a quality application along with the requested video. Your application will not be considered without submitting the required video
- Students must have a valid passport
- Students have to be nominated/recommended by their school counselor. Students need to ensure that their respective counselors have submitted the required recommendation form available on the EdPrograms website
- Successful students will be selected by EdPrograms after evaluation of their applications. We cannot guarantee selection into the program as each program has limited slots
- Counselors must submit a thorough and quality application
- A letter of nomination from the counselor’s school
- Counselors must have a valid passport
- Counselors who nominate a minimum of 5 students from their schools for the program will be preferred and have their program costs subsidized
- Participation will be guaranteed after the induction of the counselor nominated students into the program and an in-person interview
- Successful Counselors will be selected by EdPrograms after evaluation of their applications. We cannot guarantee selection into the program as each program has limited slots
