Why The EdTour?
Experienced in managing over twenty in-person U.S. university recruitment tours in Pakistan since 2012, we are excited to welcome you to EdTour – Turkistan’esh (Turkey, Pakistan & Bangladesh).
After a successful EdTour Fall 2022 – South Asia in Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan; join us this Spring as we add Turkey to our growing list of countries while returning back to Bangladesh and our home, Pakistan. As always, we look forward to welcoming a select group of higher educational institutions (HEIs) for EdTour- Spring 2023.
Be ready to meet students, parents, and high school counselors across Turkey, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Our tours offer a mix of school/university visits, and networking events with students, parents, and high school counselors. Since this is Yield season, we are planning accepted students’ events across Pakistan and Bangladesh.
EdTour is run by a group of foodies, so come prepared for a culinary journey across Turkey, Pakistan and Bangladesh!

Why EdTour - Turkistan’esh?
- Turkey, Pakistan, and Bangladesh have a combined population of 470 Million!
- Pakistan is the sixth-most populous country of 220 million people (and counting) with 55% of its population under the age of 25.
- Turkey, the 19 largest economy in the world with 39.08% of the population in Turkey is under 25 years old.
- Bangladesh is the world’s seventh fastest-growing economy with an annual growth rate of 8.3%.
- According to the UNESCO report, the total number of students studying abroad from Pakistan, Turkey and Bangladesh are 59,784, 47,628, and 44,338 respectively.
Who is this program for?
Undergraduate Admissions Representatives
- Visit 4-6 high schools in each city in Turkey, Bangladesh, and Pakistan
- Network with high school counselors through our counselor socials
- Meet students/parents during events hosted at various schools
Graduate Admissions Representatives
- Visit multiple universities across Turkey, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
- Engage in conversations with young undergraduate students in the fields of STEM, Business, and Social Sciences through discussion panels and presentations
- Network with the U.S. Embassies, Fulbright Commissions, and Consular (visa) officers.

Although Hotels and Visa fees are not included in the tour cost; We will facilitate our tour participants with negotiated corporate rates for the hotels. Any documentation needed for the visa shall be provided by EdPrograms.
Eligibility Requirements
- This tour is open to accredited higher education institutions only.
- Institutions must be accredited two-year, four-year and graduate degree-granting institutions.
- Tour participants need to be a full-time admissions employee of the participating institution.
- Alumni and recruitment agents can not represent the registered institution on our tours.
- Universities will be reviewed by the advisory board in case of exceeding tour
capacity. - Participating Institutions must adhere to the NAFSA’s Statement of Ethical Principles.
